Pounding the city streets of New York as whiffs of cinnamon and cardamom from my tea latte pleasantly surpass the usual city sidewalk stench. Mu Hair posse and I power step it up to our yearly trade show held at the Jacob Javit's center this past March.

Chattering excitedly about all things hair; shears made from alloy steel, carbon combs with varying teeth width and the ergonomics of new powerful blow dryers, ready to dodge the bass beats and formaldehyde fumes on the floor. We are pleasantly surprised by the bergamot and sandalwood wafts form the men’s grooming product, grateful the scents surpassed the previous overtake of keratin straighteners inducing headache and fainting spells.

After burgers and a basement classroom with cool dude, DJ Muldoon, we headed home inspired.
